Due to this, Castle's chip had never activated. Having been awoken and greeted by Commander Spike, it took quite some time for Castle to recuperate from the long stasis he was in including the unnerving news of his previous brothers turning on the so-called "Jedi." Unfortunately, most of his memories on Kamino were lost due to the chip malfunctioning in cryosleep, leaving only a familiarity of Kamino. Never experienced true combat before, his official frontline operations had started with the Remnant Army of the Republic. Castle's first operations started with the Battle of Uxhon, Kashyyyk, and even on his own homeworld. His superiors had taken notice of his skills with leadership and combat and promoted him to his very own squad--at least, for a short time before RC Major Zen inducted him into the legendary Remnant Commandos. By then, his brothers brought him in with open arms despite how rowdy they can be. They fought together in the liberation of Kashyyyk once again. After the succesful defense, Chieftain Tarfful commended SGT Castle for his actions for defending Tarful's homeworld. For that, Tarfful had given his life debt to Castle by honoring him with the bloodied handprint of the Wookiee Warrior as well as his own armor decorations in honor of the Wookiees. From the confused and young "shiny" to an experienced, yet still naive warrior, Castle continues the fight until his last dying breath to bring down the reign of terror of the Galactic Empire.
